My favorite local kid-friendly spots

My favorite local spots for kids!

As a stay-at-home mama, sometimes we really need to get out of the house! We are so blessed to have so many local spots perfect for children and toddlers, and so many are budget friendly as well! Here is a list of a few of my favorites:

1. The Treehouse Playground in Lititz

We love this park because it is divided into 2 sections: one geared towards small children, and one for the bigger children! I love that I can let my kids run free on the smaller one without worrying they will get run over by the older children playing!

2. Refreshing Mountain Adventure Center

This year was the first year that we took Bryson to the pool and he loved it! There is a shallow area with lots of different fountains that is perfect for younger children.

3. Strasburg Rail Road

This is one that we have not gone to yet, but I have vivid memories of my mom taking me here as a kid with my siblings and we loved it! It’s the oldest operating railroad system in America, and they take you on a 45 minute train ride through Lancaster county!
